Access to the Inka Trail is under strict control: only authorized tour operators have the right to sell and take this tour. All guides accompanying are required to have a license. Every day, the route is allowed only for 500 people, of which only 200 – the tourists, and the rest – the guides, porters, cooks. You must book Inca Trail at least 5 months before your trip.
