Kaziranga National Park is located in Assam, at the junction of the Indian subcontinent and Indochina. Kaziranga National Park covers an area of 430 square kilometers and is located on the south bank of the Brahmaputra – one of the most high-water and pristine rivers of Asia. The park was founded in 1905 and belongs to the few parts of India, where there are still wild nature. One of the most notable in the park are thickets so-called “elephant grass” reaching 5-6 meters. The surface of the lake is densely covered with showy plants: lotuses, water lilies, water hyacinth. In the Kaziranga National Park there are about 100 species of birds, farm breeding pelicans.
