Monte Roraima is located on the border of three independent states: Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana. It is the most famous, as well as the highest mesa in Venezuela, it reaches a height of 2810 meters. The total surface area of its plateau is about 30 km². This place is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is an integral part of the National Park Canaima. Local Indian tribes believe that Monte Roraima is a sacred place and that on top of the house is the progenitor of all people – the goddess named Quinn. Most often, the mountain is shrouded in white clouds, which makes it even more mysterious and unforgettably beautiful. For a long time one of the most amazing mountains remained inaccessible and unexplored by people of South America. Climb to the top of Monte Roraima dared only the bravest Indians, because they had to overcome a difficult path through the impenetrable jungle and swamps, where many dangers waited for them.
